The wardrobe transition.

While the ‘new’ year is already losing its glory, I’m finally breaking in my new blog. I have so many things to share with you guys, but I’ll take it one post at a time. First of all, you probably already noticed the green turn my social media took the past couple of weeks. 2015 has definitely been the year of eye-opening documentaries for me, from Food, inc. to The True Cost, Cowspiracy and Earthlings. They’ve all changed my daily life in more ways than one, and as a consequence also the things I want to highlight in my little nook of the internet.

Today I’m starting off with two new items that found their way to my closet. The striped top was a recent sales purchase from my hometown’s ecodesign store Supergoods. The key to building a sustainable wardrobe is by choosing your ‘building blocks’ carefully. Versatile basics are definitely the way to go! That being said, from time to time you also need to add some pizazz to your outfits and that’s where my new sneakers come in. I originally featured their marble nephews in another post but eventually I surrendered to the copper glow.

I’ll have to leave it at this, because I’m already running late for a dinner party. Suggestions for other interesting documentaries are always welcome 😉 .
