Almost a month since my last post. Low energy levels and recurrent tummy problems have slowly turned me into a virtual ghost. Also in real life, it’s been quite hard to be the vibrant twenty-something society expects you to be. I find myself canceling most of my plans, which is a real bummer. I’m so lucky to have friends that understand and support me. (Thank you so much!)
In an effort to break the downward spiral, I’ve started working on a huge project together with my boyfriend and I’m picking up blogging again starting today. I’m determined to increase my energy by doing things that make me happy. Sounds like a plan, right?
Going through holiday pictures with the sun creeping through the window, a lovely way to start my Saturday. Most of the pictures below were made at the stunning volcanic mansion of César Manrique in Costa Teguise. César was an artist and architect with a huge impact on Lanzarote. The incorporation of Lanzarote’s unique landscape and nature elements in all of his work is truly phenomenal and very inspiring. If you ever visit the island, be sure to drop by the Mirador del Rio, Jameos del Agua, Jardin de Cactus, and his impressing house of course.
